Stardust Orion

2003 Chestnut Purebred Arabian Gelding (see full pedigree at the bottom of this page)

We would really like to see Orion in an endurance home.  We have started him on ground work and he has been saddled and longed.  We've ridden him mostly walk, turn, whoa.  He takes everything in stride and is ready for some real training in whatever direction you want to go.  Orion is a solid, measured, 15.2 hands as of May 2008 and full bodied as well.  Orion is not spooky or flighty and when faced with something he's not sure about, he simply stops and looks.  He has never offered to rear or buck when ridden.

Orion has wide jaws, which provide plenty of room for good wind.  Orion has the same metallic sheen to his coat that his sire has.

Lisa is 4 years old in this picture. The pony behind Orion was measured at 13.1 hands.

Orion in 2006:

This horse is extremely smart.  Combine that with his willing attitude and it's a fantastic combination whatever discipline you choose for him!

Orion and 1/2 sister Angyl in 2006.  Orion does well in a herd environment, being passive, but not timid.

  Orion is eligible for the Egyptian Event.

Note: Orion is a wonderful gelding with lots of potential.  He does have one drawback.  His left eye has some cloudiness around the edge.  Two different vets have looked at it and say there is no internal damage.  They are both of the opinion that he either had an infection or a scratch on the eye surface.  This does not appear to affect his vision.
